Who We Are
The Baby Safari did not begin with a business plan. It began with a journey.
A family from Alaska came to Uganda to pick up their daughter after her studies and before returning home, they wanted to experience Uganda together . One final safari, calm and meaningful. At the same time, we were in a different season of life. Our work had mostly been corporate safaris, long days, full schedules, fast movement. But I had recently given birth. Lulu was still a baby. And although I had designed many safaris from the office, I hadn’t personally experienced some of the journeys our guests were taking. This felt like the right moment. Traveling With a Baby Changed Everything I was worried. How would the baby handle the drives? Would the stops be enough? Would she cry? Would this be too much? But something unexpected happened. The journey slowed us down in the best way. Stops were calculated. People were engaged and entertained. The pace softened. Lulu was calm. She sat quietly, looking out the window, taking in the scenery with curiosity and a serious little frown as if she was studying Uganda herself. That moment became everything. There is a photograph from that trip showing Lulu, observing the world and that image represents the heart of this company. Awareness Became the Business Traveling with a baby forces honesty.
